Mike loves being outdoors and brings his camera along just for fun. Mike got into astrophotography at a young age; back in the good old days of film. That provided a crash course on the science and art of photography, learning about exposure, ISO, aperture, and patience waiting for the film to develop. He even had to work with the photo labs that didn't print the photos because they were all "Too dark". Working in the world of digital, Mike appreciates the instant feedback that digital provides, but still loves the challenge of balancing the settings to get the image to come out as it appears in his head.
